In this role, you will play a key part in the firm’s billing cycle. Working closely with our professionals and administrative team, you will help ensure efficient, high-quality service for both local and international clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and validate invoices in accordance with client agreements while ensuring compliance with their specific requirements
  • Issue invoices and credit notes, and respond to inquiries from both internal and external clients
  • Generate and submit invoices through various electronic billing platforms
  • Perform data entry, updates, and revisions in the accounting system
  • Collaborate with the Data Integrity team and occasionally assist with tasks such as updating client accounts with special billing arrangements and validating standard billing rates
  • Participate in the preparation of various accounting analysis reports
  • Contribute to the improvement of operational processes and the enhancement of our new billing system
  • Perform tasks related to electronic billing (e-billing)
  • Assist the Accounting team with various tasks as needed
  • Carry out any other billing-related duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements and skills

  • Diploma of Professional Education (DEP) or Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Accounting, Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a billing or accounting-related role
  • Excellent command of French and a very good working knowledge of English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Experience working in a professional services environment (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Billing App software (an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to complete tasks within established deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
