ROBIC is currently seeking an assistant recognized for their organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively. The selected candidate will support highly skilled patent professionals in their respective fields (engineering, science, etc.) and will play a key role in the day-to-day management of intellectual property files. Not familiar with the field of patents yet? We will provide the training you need to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and document support to patent professionals
- Prepare, review, format, and send correspondence and required documents in both French and English
- Manage and update electronic patent files
- Follow up with clients, foreign associates, and patent offices
- Ensure deadlines are met and files progress smoothly
- Participate in filing documents on various platforms and updating records in management systems
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service
- Conduct research in various databases
- Perform any other related duties as required by the role
Requirements and skills
- Technical diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in office administration or secretarial studies, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in Word and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Professionalism and sound judgment
- Proactive with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and resourcefulness
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
