Our Finance team is currently looking for an FP&A Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing various financial reports and performing complex financial analyses.

Job Responsibilities
FP&A / Financial Analysis
- Actively participate in the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts, and financial planning activities
- Prepare and analyze monthly results, including variance analysis against budget, forecasts, and comparable periods
- Produce clear and structured financial analyses for management, including summaries and key insights
- Contribute to the preparation of executive presentations
- Support management decision-making through ad hoc analyses
- Collaborate closely with operational teams and managers to gain a strong understanding of business issues
Occasional Support – Accounting / Month-End Close
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed during month-end, particularly for financial analyses and validations
- Prepare and post month-end or corrective journal entries
- Perform account analyses, reconciliations, or variance explanations when required
- Help ensure alignment between accounting data and FP&A analyses to maintain consistency in financial information
- Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files and review their contents to ensure compliance
Continuous Improvement and Efficiency
- Improve and standardize financial tracking tools and Excel models, with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and reliability
- Optimize the presentation of financial information, ensuring it is tailored to an executive audience
- Contribute to the improvement of FP&A processes in collaboration with finance and other teams
- Act as a resource within the FP&A team for financial analysis and information structuring
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field/experience
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in accounting in an analytical role
- Strong command of both French and English, spoken and written;
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to organize, structure, and present information clearly and effectively for management
- CPA designation (a strong asset)
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and IBM Planning Analytics (an asset);
- Interest in continuous improvement and optimizing processes; ability to use artificial intelligence appropriately to enhance efficiency and improve the quality of analyses
