The Opportunity
About Your Role
As our Trademark Associate in our Malaysia office, you will primarily support trademark matters across international markets and various jurisdictions, advising on trademark protection strategies, trademark prosecution matters, including oppositions and other contentious matters within the Asia jurisdiction. Problem-solving and strong writing skills are a must.
What You'll Do
- Portfolios management strategy, trademark prosecution matters, including oppositions and other contentious matters within the Asia jurisdiction.
- Conducting clearance searches, advising on filing strategies
- Responding to examination reports
- Coordinating filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Monitoring and tracking crucial deadlines
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar trademark role is preferred.
- Able to handle high volumes of workload with good time management.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Mandarin would be highly advantageous
