IPH Limited is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Sydney team. Reporting to the Head of Architecture, this role is responsible for designing and implementing business solutions with a strong focus on application integration architecture. You will ensure solutions are secure, scalable, high-performing, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. The role covers systems integration and provides technical guidance across group-level delivery and regional support teams.
Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Integration Service, OutSystems, Microsoft Power Platform, and a proven track record in designing robust, end-to-end solution architectures that meet business requirements while integrating seamlessly with existing systems. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation and advancing IPH’s application architecture capability.
A typical day may include:
- Supporting and enhancing the Architecture practice by developing standards, reference architectures, templates, and models.
- Designing end-to-end solutions across Business, Application, Data, Integration, Network, Infrastructure, Security, and Operational domains.
- Providing architectural guidance to development teams, assessing technical risks, and identifying dependencies with other systems or projects.
- Evaluating and recommending technologies to optimise efficiency and reduce technical debt.
- Championing architecture governance, security, and best practices across projects and existing systems.
- Engaging with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Mentoring team members, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, and promoting professional growth within the architecture domain.
About You
- Proven experience as an Integration Architect or Developer or similar role in complex organisations, with a track record of designing and implementing solutions on cloud and low-code platforms.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology; certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., cloud, integration architecture) are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of software development, Integration and engineering methodologies, especially in MS Platforms.
- Experience working across complex projects and technologies, resolving solution design and architecture challenges.
- Practical knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) and emerging tools, with an understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and organised, with strong time management, attention to detail, and sound business acumen.
